RELEVANT YOUTH (RY)
As an Account Manager for RY (now called Matchbook Marketing), I led a team of copy editors, strategists, and designers to expand recognition of and interest in a Columbia e-gift card platform created to fuel local business. One question we had to tackle: how do we market an app that isn't out yet, and doesn't yet have a launch timeline? Our answer lied in telling the story of Mitto's spirit through the lens of Columbia's one-of-a-kind local businesses.
My team helped build Mitto's marketing strategy and carried out social media goals to provide a solid brand foundation for the app moving forward. Although the creators weren't able to profitably launch the app, my team created a platform that supported their goals to support local business and highlight local stories.

What I did (day-to-day)
Led team of strategists, copywriters, designers to build interest in an app that would enable digital e-gift card access
Developed relationship with Mitto owners, liaised between team and client
Led marketing, media relations strategy in coordination with client
Built landing page site for Mitto app to be launched with app unveiling
